If you want to support the mission of the Rocky Mountain Collie and Sheltie Rescue there are many ways you can help.
Volunteer
Would you like to volunteer in some capacity? Even posting a flyer about Rocky Mountain Collie and Sheltie Rescue at your place of work will help us spread the word. How about taking a rescue dog for a walk? Some of our dogs stay temporarily in vet kennels until a foster home or permanent home can be found. They would love to go for a walk and receive attention. We’d be happy to talk with you and share ideas. Please call or send us an e-mail.
Foster Homes
One of the most loving things you can do is provide a temporary home for a dog until a permanent placement can be found. If you are interested in helping, please contact us via e-mail or phone. You will be contacted by a volunteer to discuss the application process. We will cover all medical and associated expenses while a dog is in foster care.
Transport
Could you help transport rescue dogs? Would you like to become what the rescue community refers to as an “angel on wheels.” If you live somewhere in Colorado or another state in the Rocky Mountain region, there will surely come a time when we can use your help.
