Emmy is a small and lovely tri -colored rough coat Collie that has arrived in Colorado with her hopes high.  She is a 2-3 year-old spayed female, weighing in at 43# which is just perfect for her structure.  She has had all of the appropriate vaccines including lepto and rabies.  She has now been fluffed and buffed and is looking fabulous.  And she has that little "something extra" that some dogs just have naturally.  She has a sense of humor and is delightful to be around.  Her manners are good and she was born to learn and share with her humans.  We just need to connect her with people who also have a little something extra.  She would be awesome in agility training or freestyle (dancing with your dog!).  And she also sings, trilling happily as you drive along together.  As I said, she is spectacular!  Just one woman's opinion.

Please begin the process for adoption by reading our Adoption Policies and, if we sound like the right group for you, fill out our online Adoption Application. From there, our receipt of your completed application will be confirmed by email. You then will receive a follow-up phone call if we feel you are a good potential applicant for the dog. Lots of good conversation with the foster family, a reference from your veterinarian, and a home visit round out the screening process. We take dog adoption very seriously.  Please put a lot of thought into why you want to adopt a dog, and help us make a good match for your family. We appreciate your taking the time to visit with us. We will look forward to hearing from you as well.
