Meet our Enchanting Evie! Miss Evie is everything you could wish for in a dog and more! She adores everyone - adults, little kids, cats, other dogs - everyone! She has a loving personality, and likes to snuggle up next to you wherever you are. Unless there's a toy or Frisbee on the loose in the house, at which point you'll be playing with Evie! Or she might want to play hide and seek with her toys!

Evie knows her indoor manners very well. However, she doesn't much like being on a leash, but she'll learn. She went on a 3 mile run with her foster mom on her first day, and she did okay.

Oh, and Evie LOVES to ride in the car. Her favorite part is hanging her head out the window!!

Now for the important stuff about Evie: Miss Enchanting has a condition known as Addison's disease. Her body doesn't produce the steroids she requires in life. To compensate for this, Evie gets two pills every day. In exchange you get this unbelievably wonderful girlie!

Please begin the process for adoption by reading our Adoption Policies and, if we sound like the right group for you, fill out our online Adoption Application. From there, our receipt of your completed application will be confirmed by email. You then will receive a follow-up phone call if we feel you are a good potential applicant for the dog. Lots of good conversation with the foster family, a reference from your veterinarian, and a home visit round out the screening process. We take dog adoption very seriously.  Please put a lot of thought into why you want to adopt a dog, and help us make a good match for your family. We appreciate your taking the time to visit with us. We will look forward to hearing from you as well.
