Crystal is the quintessential Collie.  She is a 4 1/2 year old spayed female sable and white rough Collie.  Just like Lassie, only better!  Because she can be in your arms and in your life.

Crystal is housebroken, walks well on a leash and knows her basic obedience commands.  She is capable of being anything you would want her to be.  A therapy dog to visit nursing homes or children in hospitals.  A dog to teach her humans how to do competitive AKC events.  Your favorite couch potato to watch movies with your kids or grandkids.  She is versatile and fabulous!

Please read through the information on our website at www.colliesheltierescue.org and then complete the online application.  That is our first step toward any adoption and without it, there is no point to any conversation.  The more you tell us about your life, the better we can advise you on what dog might be just right for you.  And that is what it is all about.  The right dog for each family and the right humans for each and every dog.

Our contract is very specific.  A lifetime placement.  Change is inevitable.  But your dog should be forever.  Thanks for watching out for a dog that needs you.  But I bet you need the dog more.

Please begin the process for adoption by reading our Adoption Policies and, if we sound like the right group for you, fill out our online Adoption Application. From there, our receipt of your completed application will be confirmed by email. You then will receive a follow-up phone call if we feel you are a good potential applicant for the dog. Lots of good conversation with the foster family, a reference from your veterinarian, and a home visit round out the screening process.
