COMPLETED APPLICATION FIRST.  WITHOUT IT, WE HAVE NO PLACE TO BEGIN A DISCUSSION.

MacKenzie is the big, glorious quintessential sable and white rough Collie that if you close your eyes, you can daydream about him.  He is five years old, absolutely in his prime as far as attitude and temperament.  Big Mac loves men, women and children.  Toddlers might be at risk of being bumped by his big old tousche and knocked over.  LOL And he is good friends with cats and other dogs.

Big Mac spent quite a bit of time in his home at a Doggie Resort where he got lots of stimulation.  Special needs children used to visit with him often because he is so gentle and amiable.  He would make an incredible companion to visit nursing homes or children's hospitals.  There is a heartwarming commercial on the air these days with a bedridden young child in a hospital bed.  A nurse pops her head into the room and says they are going to try some new therapy that day.  In walks a magnificent Bernese Mountain Dog who plops his big, beautiful head on the kiddo's bed.  She starts to smile and it lights up the room.  MacKenzie would spread sunshine like that and be totally fulfilled doing it.

Mac is heartworm negative and has completely normal baseline bloodwork and CBC.  He is UTD with all the core vaccines.  And microchipped as well.  He is housebroken and obedience trained.  The only reason he is seeking a new forever home is because of health issues of his owners.  They are heartbroken but put his needs ahead of their own.

We will only consider placing MacKenzie with dedicated humans who will give him the very best life possible.  We do check your veterinary reference so you might want to give your favorite vet a heads up.  We also require a home visit.  In these crazy times, we may accept digital photos or a video walk-through.

All Collies are magnificent.  But MacKenzie is downright spectacular!
