Without a completed application , we don't have the information we need to even begin a conversation.  The online app is on our website at www.colliesheltierescue.org.

Every litter of puppies has a clown.  Omaha is quite a character.  He is in charge of fun and games.  Part of it may stem from his ears. (Just a theory!)  One goes straight up and the other ear goes southwest-ish.  His ears get kissed so often that he has figured out that is the way it should be.

He is happy and healthy and busy.  A ten week old puppy is a handful.  They need lots of attention to guide them to be the best dog they can be.  Premium puppy food to give them the nutrition they need to grow big and strong.  Lots of playing and running around and perhaps another gentle dog to play tug with.  Kids would be awesome but not toddlers that might get knocked over with Omaha's exuberance.  Take a look at your life realistically and see if you have the time to make this pup's life amazing for the next 15 years.

Please understand that there are only 5 puppies and we expect to have 50 applications for them. Don't be too disappointed if you are not chosen for one of them.

Please begin the process for adoption by reading our Adoption Policies and, if we sound like the right group for you, fill out our online Adoption Application. From there, our receipt of your completed application will be confirmed by email. You then will receive a follow-up phone call if we feel you are a good potential applicant for the dog. Lots of good conversation with the foster family, a reference from your veterinarian, and a home visit round out the screening process. We take dog adoption very seriously.  Please put a lot of thought into why you want to adopt a dog, and help us make a good match for your family. We appreciate your taking the time to visit with us. We will look forward to hearing from you as well.
