A COMPLETED APPLICATION IS OUR FIRST STEP TOWARD ANY ADOPTION.  YOU WILL FIND THE ONLINE APPLICATION ON OUR WEBSITE AT www.colliesheltierescue.org.  PLEASE READ ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION AND  THE REQUIREMENTS FOR ADOPTION SUCH AS A FENCED YARD  AND FABULOUS REFERENCE FROM YOUR VETERINARIAN.

Willie is one half of the "dynamic duo" of Willie and Gemma.  They are both young adult rough coated Collies.  Willie is the traditional sable and white variety while Gemma has a lovely blue merle coat.  These two dogs have been together their whole lives and will remain together forever.  They have produced a litters of pups and the last two remaining 1 1/2 year old pups have been adopted.  Willie has been neutered and Gemma has been spayed.   THESE TWO DOGS WILL ONLY BE PLACED TOGETHER!!

These dogs had quite a bit of freedom on their 10 acre ranch in Wyoming.  They are carefree and love to be outdoors to investigate any noises.  Their previous living situation was a large sunroom of sorts with a dog door to a fenced enclosure.  So housebreaking to a more typical home life has not be a difficult transition.  Willie has taken to loose leash walking easily and loves to go for walks around our property and will "load up" into my van with no complaint.  He walks in and out of Hilltop Pet Clinic like he owns the joint and asks for pets and treats.

Willie is a rangy Collie and when he puts on a few more pounds, he will put Lassie to shame.  As you can see in the attached photos, he is handsome and has an engaging Collie grin.  He eats and drinks well and sleeps all night with no interruption.  Willie loves the company of all the Collies that live here.  And sometimes, there are way too many to count!  LOL

Without a completed application, we will not be able to speak with you about these dogs.  It would be a shame to waste everyone's time if a placement is not going to be possible.  Thank you for understanding.

AND AGAIN, TO BE PERFECTLY CLEAR, GEMMA AND WILLIE BOY WILL ONLY BE PLACED TOGETHER.!!
