Aretha is a shorter-haired version of Mama Adele but with similar black and white markings.  She is a bit of a pistol and loves to play rough and tumble with her littermates.  She is healthy and happy and ready to be loved, especially by a family with kiddoes.  At 13 1/2 pounds, she is petite but has great proportions.  Hilltop Pet Clinic says she is a lovely example of a "randomly bred dog."  (That is a mutt to you and me.)  Mutt, or no mutt, Aretha has a lot of love to give in exchange for a lifetime of good care from her humans.

All of Aretha's vet care is on  us.  As she is old enough for additional vaccines and to be spayed,  we will be in touch and will pay for it all to be done at the veterinary clinic of your choice.  BUT, it will be done.  PERIOD.

Please begin the process for adoption by reading our Adoption Policies and, if we sound like the right group for you, fill out our online Adoption Application. From there, our receipt of your completed application will be confirmed by email. You then will receive a follow-up phone call if we feel you are a good potential applicant for the dog. Lots of good conversation with the foster family, a reference from your veterinarian, and a home visit round out the screening process. We take dog adoption very seriously.  Please put a lot of thought into why you want to adopt a dog, and help us make a good match for your family. We appreciate your taking the time to visit with us.
