A COMPLETED APPLICATION IS OUR FIRST STEP TOWARD ANY PLACEMENT.  YOU WILL FIND THE ONLINE APP AT www.colliesheltierescue.org.  THERE ARE 10 PUPPIES IN THIS LITTER OF A NEWFOUNDLAND/BORDER COLLIE MIX MAMA.   YES, WE NOTICED THEY ARE NOT COLLIES OR SHELTIES BUT THEY NEEDED TO GO SOMEWHERE TO SURVIVE...

If Whitney could talk, she would tell you she is my favorite pup from the litter of "singing puppies" of Mama Adele.  Her photos don't do her justice at all.  She has a little tiny face to match her perfect 12.5# body.  She is a little more feminine than the other female pups.  A little delicate.  That is until she gets started playing full tilt.  And then she holds her own with all the rest of the litter, even the biggest males.  As to what combo of breeds this little sweetheart may actually be, it is difficult to say.  But I bet you will love her like gangbusters!

All of Whitney's vet care is on us.  As he is old enough for additional vaccines and to be spayed, we will be in touch and pay for it all to be done at the veterinary clinic of your choice.  BUT, it will be done.  PERIOD.

Please begin the process for adoption by reading our Adoption Policies and, if we sound like the right group for you, fill out our online Adoption Application. From there, our receipt of your completed application will be confirmed by email. You then will receive a follow-up phone call if we feel you are a good potential applicant for the dog. Lots of good conversation with the foster family, a reference from your veterinarian, and a home visit round out the screening process. We take dog adoption very seriously.  Please put a lot of thought into why you want to adopt a dog, and help us make a good match for your family. We appreciate your taking the time to visit with us. We will look forward to hearing from you as well.
