LADYBIRD IS AN 13-ISH YEAR OLD BORDER COLLIE MIX, WE THINK.  SHE IS SO GRATEFUL FOR ALL THE ATTENTION SHE IS RECEIVING IN HER FOSTER HOME.  HER HEALTH IS FRAGILE AT THIS POINT BUT IT MAY IMPROVE AS GOOD FOOD AND LOVING CARE HELP HER TO BE ALL THE DOG SHE CAN BE.  HER OWNER DIED AND SHE WAS IN IN A MUNICIPAL SHELTER FOR A WHILE AND THEN AT A SANCTUARY.  WE WERE ASKED TO GET INVOLVED AND WE SAID YES.

SO WE ARE ASKING FOR SPONSERSHIP FOR LADYBIRD TO COVER THE EXPENSES FOR MEDICATIONS AND SUPPLEMENTS.  IF (OR UNTIL) SHE IS STRONG ENOUGH TO HAVE A GENERAL ANESTHETIC FOR THE PURPOSE OF A BIG DENTAL, SHE WILL STAY WITH BOB AND PAT IN HER FOSTER HOME AND BE A PERMANENT FOSTER.

Please begin the process for adoption by reading our Adoption Policies and, if we sound like the right group for you, fill out our online Adoption Application. From there, our receipt of your completed application will be confirmed by email. You then will receive a follow-up phone call if we feel you are a good potential applicant for the dog. Lots of good conversation with the foster family, a reference from your veterinarian, and a home visit round out the screening process. We take dog adoption very seriously.  Please put a lot of thought into why you want to adopt a dog, and help us make a good match for your family. We appreciate your taking the time to visit with us.
